    TCI rock hole opener ranging from 10 to 66 that is divided into two types: MT cutter and TCI cutter, and is used in various compressive strength of the formations. The product is used for the reaming of the oil, gas, petrochemical, sewage, power and fiber optic pipelines in the no-dig horizontal directional drilling.

    Directional crossing operation is widely used in unexcavated project. Three steps in such operation are: 1, oriented hole operation; 2, hole opening; 3, pipe pulling. Hole opening is the most onerous task in this operation, but, the key for hole opening operation is the hole opener choosing according to the operation equipment and formation.

TCI hole openers

TCI hole openers are designed with 5-3-7 random cutting structure, ideal for medium formations. The single cutters can be used for various hole diameters to be able to use in various job sites without having to invest in several hole openers.

MT hole openers are designed with a 2-2-7 cutting structure for soft formations. The cutting structure consists of a pair of cones, properly matched to optimize coverage on ground formations. The single modular stem can be used for various hole diameters to be able to use in various job sites without having to invest in several hole openers.

Cautions

1. Please select the applicable formation and parameters according to the instructions.
2. Carefully check the bits appearance and to check the bits threaded end face,whether the serial number on the box and certificate.
3. Selection of WOB and RPM should be within the limits of the recommended parameters, higher WOB and RPM cannot be used simultaneously.
4. Bottom hole must be clean and bit must not be used for long section reaming.
5. Drilling process must operate smoothly, find that there is Bie jump on abnormal phenomenon, should be timely analysis and take effective measures
6. The bit should be kept indoor with dry and well ventilated conditions at 10-33℃ and kept from sunshine and rain. Stored under such conditions, quality of bit is guaranteed for 3 years.
